One of my coworkers have told me recently that some guys we both knew said I was one of the prettier girls they have seen(Not saying so myself). But they never had a single time where “dating me” had crossed their mind. Maybe it’s cause I’m still young but I was like “WHAT??” I didn’t get it at all.

But finally, she told me that guys are really simple. If they find a girl intimidating, they won’t bother. And then I became EVEN MORE confused. I was like… ‘I’m the shortest girl ever. I’m like every other girl. How am I intimidating??’

So the answer I got was that you can be intimidating because of how pretty you are. They must think that a lot of guys ask you out (which isn’t true).

So the point of this story was not to compliment myself but that I have learned more about people. People would not try to even take up a challenge because it may be difficult or hard. And then, I applied this to myself and figured out that a lot of stuff that I avoid are the intimidating. challenging things.

Now, I’m going to start taking up these challenges and better myself for the future. :)
